Hurts frontman Theo Hutchcraft has revealed that he is looking forward to working with Leona Lewis.

The Sun reports that Hutchcraft is going to meet with the singer next year to talk over their previously-announced collaboration.

“We’re going to go for a drink in the New Year to talk things over. It would be very interesting to work together. That voice of hers is outrageous,” he said.

Hutchcraft also added how he hopes to turn Lewis into a gothic figure.

“I’d like to turn her into a goth. She could lead the way in America with a new trend – a gothic diva. If she spent half an hour with us she’d definitely end up that way.

“Dark and haunting. It would be amazing.”

Lewis revealed in October that she was “totally in love” with Hurts.

The British singer spends a lot of time in the US city for her music career and is a huge fan of the lifestyle.

She said: “It’s really outdoorsy and I love that. It’s always sunny and I loved going on horse trails and hiking in the canyons.

“At first, I didn’t like Los Angeles – it’s so vast and you have to drive everywhere. Everyone has this perception that I’m over there a lot, but it’s just for work. My life is in London.”

The 25-year-old pop star’s love of Los Angeles may have inspired her ambition to star in a film.

One of Leona’s idols is Beyonce Knowles and she would love to follow in her footsteps and make the move from music to Hollywood.

She previously said: “Beyonce is a great girl, so lovely and down to earth and talented. She’s definitely inspiring for females.

“I might go into acting like she did – I’m not sure. If the right thing comes along, like a small part in a movie, I might.”

Three months after splitting from her long-term love Lou Al-Chamaa, Leona Lewis seems to have found love again.

The 25-year-old is said to be enjoying the company of Dennis Jauch – a backing dancer on her recent tour and former winner of the German version of So You Think You Can Dance (pictured).

Reports that the pair were an item first emerged six weeks ago when they were seen enjoying a day out together at Berlin Zoo.

At the time, representatives for Leona insisted they were just good friends.

But this week, they were spotted together in Hamburg – Dennis’ home city – looking very much like a couple.

The Bleeding Love singer was seen resting her head on the 22-year-old’s shoulder as they cuddled up on the street outside his flat.

According to the Mirror, Leona and Dennis – seen with a protective arm around the star – are currently on a romantic four-day break in Germany.

A friend of Dennis’ has revealed that the pair are “crazy about each other”.

“Leona is so happy when she is with Dennis. He makes her laugh and feel good,” the source told the paper.

“And Dennis thinks the world of her. Things have become serious between them very quickly.”

Leona Lewis disrupted a London stage show during a night out with friends.

The Bleeding Love singer, who was reportedly drinking alcohol with pals, had been watching the Burn The Floor musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre, when she amazed theatregoers during a break in the performance when she started re-enacting saucy dance moves from the show and shouting about how she had a crush on one of the show’s female dancers.

“It was hilarious. The rowdy group brought plenty of attention to themselves by re-enacting the sexy lifts and moves from the show during the interval,” a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper.

“Leona seemed very impressed with Venezuelan dancer Karen Hauer. She kept shouting out: ‘She’s so hot!’ ”

The 25-year-old beauty recently split from her boyfriend of 10 years, Lou Al-Chamaa, but has since been flooded with male attention.

She was spotted swapping numbers with The Wanted singer Max George, and went on a date with a mystery man to a zoo in Germany.

However, Lewis’s new party-girl persona has come as a surprise, as the pop star has previously blasted people who drink alcohol to have fun as having a “stupid mindset”.

“I find some people’s attitude to drinking ridiculous. I think it’s so funny that people think you have to drink in order to have fun. It’s such a stupid mindset! A lot of my friends are like, ‘I need a drink to get on the dance floor!’ I don’t need that ‘help me to relax’ thing. If I’m around my friends then I can really relax and have a good time, that’s all I need. I don’t need alcohol,” She previously said.
